Our Team
Our team is a group of travel-loving problem solvers with a knack for making your travel planning easier. Klondike Travel is led by Carmen, while Andrea manages our sister company, Yukon Tours.
Carmen
Owner
As the owner and manager of Klondike Travel & Yukon Tours in Whitehorse Yukon, Carmen was integral in building the business from a hobby to the most progressive travel management company in the Yukon and one of the top three in Canada since 2012.
Proud to operate on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, Carmen’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of the North have driven her to continue to learn and grow a small business in an ever-evolving industry, often against the odds and with nothing more than the will to do the best job possible.
Living on a gold claim in her youth, hunting & fishing, exploring, foraging, and hiking, often on her own with the family dog, taught her respect for the land, the history of those who were there before us, and the peace that being in the moment can bring.
Being an entrepreneur fills Carmen’s cup with much personal and business satisfaction, but her secret happy place is fishing on the lakes and streams or spoiling her two dogs, Johnny & June.
Angie
Leisure Travel Expert
A professional travel agent since 1994, Angie has spent her entire career serving customers by anticipating and effectively seeing to their needs.
Angie works remotely with her family of fur-babies and love of all things travel.
A frequent visitor to Mexico, Angie happily shares her expertise of this favourite destination.
Ask Angie about her recent trek of the Camino de Santiago through Portugal and Spain - what a bucket list trip!
Roxy
Airfare Expert
Travel is a passion for Roxy. Leave the organization and research to her and from the moment you start communicating until after you return home, she aims to ensure your experience is memorable, enjoyable and more than you expected.
Roxy balances family and work life by working remotely with regular business hours.
Jenn
Travel Insurance & Travel Consultant
Working with Jen the last several years has shown me she is a go-getter and hard to keep up to. A true professional in all she takes on, Jen is the right gal to have in your corner.
In 2023 Jen completed her recertification to sell travel insurance in the Yukon and is our go-to for all things travel insurance.
Jen is a proud mom, daughter, wife and friend and brings strong family values, respect and loyalty to her job and those working with her.
She enjoys the outdoors and is always up for adventure, karaoke, and travelling with friends and family.
Rebecca
Corporate & Group Travel
She’s back! A Yukon girl with a thirst for adventure, Rebecca doesn’t just wait for life to happen. With not one but two degrees and distinction, she is no stranger to hard work and doing what it takes.
Rebecca has worked in the family business since her teens starting with filing and errands up to Corporate and Groups desk before heading off to University.
Rebecca spends her time (when not studying for another degree) outside with her dogs Rocky & Hershey, and with family and friends. Like her mamma, she loves to fish.
Ben
Sales Office & Support
Ben, a true born and raised Yukoner, he brings a passion for travel and a passport of stamps!
New to the industry he eagerly completed his ACTA Travel Agent Essentials course and learned to navigate GDS flight booking files like a pro. He also support the Corporate booking team and Yukon Tours.
